Come aboard the Hokulani, a spacious luxury trimaran, and enjoy a short sail out to Manta Village, located just offshore from the Outrigger Kona Resort. Once you reach Manta Village, the friendly staff on board will provide a knowledgeable and professional briefing on the manta rays and then help you get onto our state-of-the-art "manta flotation device."
This is a float that rests above the majestic manta rays. It is ideal for snorkelers of all ages and skill levels because all you do is hold onto it and float on the water’s surface, marveling at the manta rays below you. Watch them feed on the microscopic plankton that rises from the bottom of the ocean at night and is attracted to the light source attached to the float. As your incredible snorkel experience comes to an end, the staff will guide you back on board for some light snacks or a warm cup of hot cocoa. Snorkel time is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
