Hawaii Group Vacations
If you’ve never traveled with a group before, you might be wondering what a sample itinerary would look like. Depending on the size of your group, you could be looking to satisfy many different travelers or just a few, making sure that everyone has a good time. Planning a Hawaii group vacation is tough, simply because there is so many great things to do throughout the islands, and each person in your group has different ideas of what makes the vacation great. Finding that happy medium is important, and when you work with our team of group vacation planners, we will make sure that we fit in as many of the things you want to do, making your vacation perfect.
Fitting everything in depends entirely on the length of your stay, though we usually meet groups that are here for 7 days. In that time, you can do so much, and really experience the islands. Creating the itinerary for your Hawaii group vacation only gets easier with us, so let us help you put together a vacation your group will love, something that look a little like this:
Day 1 – Arrive, check in, and acclimate
You don't want to do much on the first day. Traveling takes it out of you, so once you’ve arrived and checked in to your hotel, find somewhere close to get something to eat, and head to the beach to watch the sunset.
Day 2 – Adapting to the time change
Hawaii is 6 hours behind the mainland US east coast, and 3 hours behind the west coast. Your internal clock is going to be off, so don’t be shocked when you wake up at 4am local time and are wide awake. Take advantage of this, and grab some coffee and watch the sunrise. It is incredible. Take the rest of the day to adjust and relax on the beach, taking it very easy. This is your chance to relax and just enjoy the scenery.
Day 3 – Head out for adventure
This is the day when you are ready to see whichever island you are visiting. Take a Hawaii sightseeing tour and see the top sites around the island. Your group will see the entire island together, and get to enjoy the diversity and natural beauty of the island, with more picture opportunities than you can count,
Day 4 – The fun continues
Now that you have seen the island, it’s time to have a ton of fun. Since you’re about halfway through your trip, this is the perfect time to have a full day of activity, and what better way to do that than to head out on a snorkeling adventure early in the day, recuperate during the middle of the day, and then head to an authentic Hawaiian luau that night. Most snorkeling tours return in the early afternoon so you have plenty of time to rest before an evening of fun.
Day 5 – Take a breather
With back-to-back days of fun and adventure, you might want a day for your group to take it easy, and there is nothing wrong with that. Hit the beach, enjoy a mid-day cocktail or two, and enjoy some downtime. A great idea is to return to a beach that you visited during your sightseeing tour.
Day 6 – A little bit of both
With your vacation winding down, you’re going to want some more beach time, but you’re also going to want to do something fun. This is great day for a surf lesson, a zip line adventure, hiking, or even a sunset dinner cruise. You can spend the rest of the day, either before or after your adventure, depending on what your group chooses, and hit the beach again and relax.
Day 7 – Saying goodbye
On the last day of your Hawaii group vacation, it’s going to be very difficult to leave. The islands are just so beautiful and relaxing, and saying goodbye won’t be easy. But with the memories you’ve created, you’ll be able to look back fondly on the islands. Depending on your departure time, you can enjoy a little more beach time or head back to a great restaurant you’ve eaten at one more time. Then throw a shaka as you fly away from Hawaii.
Hawaii group vacations are always fun, and once you actually get here, you’ll be quite happy that you let us help you with the planning. Now, you are able to sit back relax, and just enjoy the Hawaiian Islands with your group, making lasting memories on a perfect vacation.
