Hilo Ocean Adventures - 1 or 2 Tank Certified SCUBA Shore Dive at Sea Turtle Cove


Join Hilo Ocean Adventures for a certified dive off the beaches of Hilo! Hilo's unique environment where fresh water springs enter the ocean along the coast boasts untouched reef walls, spectacular rock formations, and a thriving and diverse sea life.  An abundant sea turtle population, octopus, eagle and manta rays, eels, corals, and tropical reef fish are only some of the sea life that claim the area as home.

Guided by experienced dive professionals, you will be taken out to a premier dive sites for a 1 tank dive. After a safety briefing and review of the creatures likely to be encountered, enjoy a non-taxing tour of the underwater wonders near Hilo. Diving depths of approximately 30-45 feet are reached.

Gear - While you are welcome to bring your own gear, Hilo Ocean Adventures does have top of the line equipment available for rent as well.  Gear is NOT automatically included.

Special instructions

    Where and When:
    Check in at 10:15 am at the Hilo Ocean Adventures Shop.

    Once checked in at the dive shop, transportation will be provided to the dive site.
    Restrictions:
    Minimum of 2 guests required
    Minors 15 and under must be accompanied by an Adult.

    All guests must be certified open water divers and have their SCUBA diver certification card or be looked up online for their card. Gear is not included in the tour price and will only be available if you selected the Add Gear pricing.

    All guests must be in good health with no recent injuries, pregnancies, back or neck problems. All guests should be able to swim unassisted in the open ocean.
    Special Notes:
    Please use Reef Safe sunscreen. This is sunscreen that does not contain oxybenzone, which is the leading cause of reef stress and coral bleaching.
