Princeville is located on the north shore on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. The area was named to honor the visit of Prince Albert Kamehameha in 1860. Through its history, it has been the home to coffee and sugar cane plantations and a cattle ranch before being sold for development in 1968 for a golf course and resort.
Princeville is near the famous Na Pali coast with its towering cliffs, waterfalls, valleys, and lush vegetation on the north shore where numerous tours treat Hawaii vacation goers to sightseeing tours, sea cave adventures, whale watching, snorkeling, diving, catamaran cruises, and more. Kauai activities in the area are zip line tours, horseback riding, ATV riding, and hiking.
