Experience a fun off-road ATV tour and explore the Hamakua ranchlands, featuring beautiful ocean and mountain views. At Umauma you can choose from a single rider ATV or a side by side UTV with room for up to 4 people. They also offer a guide driven tour option if you would like to come along as a passenger.

With miles of trails and gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean below you and the 1,000 ft elevation views of Mauna Kea above you, this tour is an exiting addition to your Hawaii trip. If there's been a recent rain you can visit and ride through "The Pit." It's the perfect place to sling some mud from the tires!

Also, along the tour you'll stop at Umauma's private pond and waterfall for snacks and a dip in the water (optional). Ride on a single ATV, a 2 seater UTV or a 4 seater UTV.

There's even a practice track with guide instructions, so all experience levels are welcome!

    You'll see a steep concrete driveway with an overhead wooden sign reading "The Umauma Experience." Turn up the drive and the Visitor Center will be at the top on the right.
    Restrictions:
    General:
    Guests should not have a history of neck or back injuries.
    Pregnant women may not participate.
    All guests must wear closed-toed shoes.
    All tours operate rain or shine. If there is thunder or lightning the tour will be cancelled with refund options.

    Drivers:
    Single ATV - Minimum age of 16 years or older with parental permission. Ages 16-17 must be accompanied by parent or guardian on tour.
    Passenger ATVs - Minimum age of 18 years or older with parental permission. Ages 21 years and older do not need parental approval.
    ALL DRIVERS MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE & PRESENT IT AT CHECK-IN. Permits do not qualify for a valid drivers license.
    Maximum weight of 350 lbs (159 kg).

    Passengers:
    Minimum age of 4 years. Guests ages 4-11 must ride with a parent/guardian.
    Minimum weight of 35 lbs (16 kg). Maximum weight of 225 lbs (102 kg).
