This is the perfect tour if you're not an early riser to see a sunrise from the summit at Haleakala. Simply come to see the sunset for an equally amazing experience. This is the only Maui tour that takes you up to Haleakala's summit to capture the sunset.

As you ascend Haleakala, one of the largest volcanoes in the world, we'll make a stop at the Kula Lodge Marketplace to rest and browse unique hand-crafted pieces by local Maui artisans.  The Lodge is also surrounded by gardens of flowers and views of the Pacific Ocean. Next up are the Haleakala Rangers Station at 7,000 feet and the Haleakala Visitors Center at 9,740 feet above sea level, from where you'll enjoy spectacular crater and sunset views.

    Where and When:
    Hotel pick-up is provided from major Maui hotels. The exact pick-up time will be emailed with your confirmation.
    Approximate tour times are as follows:
    Summer (Apr 1 - Sept 30): Departure at 2:00 pm. Return at 9:00 pm.
    Winter (Oct 1 - Mar 31): Departure at 1:30 pm. Return at 8:30 pm.
    Restrictions:
    This tour is not recommended for people with heart or respiratory conditions that may be exacerbated due to high altitude.
    This tour is operated on rough, winding roads. It is not recommended for pregnant women or those with back or motion problems.
    People who have gone scuba diving should wait 24 hours before going on this tour.
    Special Notes:
    Dress warmly for the summit of Haleakala. Temperatures can range between 20-40 F (-6 to 5 C).
    We do not guarantee weather will permit viewing sunset.
