Rainbow Helicopters - Royal Crown of Oahu

This is Rainbow Helicopters most complete Oahu helicopter tour. You’ll get to see all the island’s top sights in one hour. Departing from the Honolulu International Airport, your adventure begins with expansive views of the Waikiki skyline. Look up to new heights, and you’ll see Diamond Head’s tiara, sometimes jeweled with rainbows, reigning over the south shore.

Continuing on, you’ll pass Hanauma Bay, Oahu’s prime snorkeling spot. Then glide over the charming Makapu'u lighthouse overlooking the island’s southeastern tip. The tour then continues north up along the windward coast, and you’ll see the Ko'olau Mountain Range, as well as Lanikai Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Hawaii.

Offshore, sandbars and coral formations make Kaneohe Bay one of the most picturesque places. Passing Chinaman’s Hat Island, the majestic Ka'a'awa Valley unfolds before you. As the mountains approach, you’ll pull in close to see the impressive streams of Sacred Falls tumble into the lush rainforest below.

On Oahu’s North Shore, enjoy spectacular views of world-famous big wave surfing beaches, including Banzai Pipeline, Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay. Heading inland, you’ll fly over the Dole Pineapple Plantation and then last but not least, Pearl Harbor.

Doors Off Option: Rainbow Helicopters gives you the choice if you would like to fly with doors on or doors off. You can select your flight preference at time of booking. With the doors off option, you get to experience the sights with an open cabin and enjoy unobstructed views.

Please park in the left-hand side lot and come to the large glass doors at the main entrance.

Restrictions:
Due to FAA regulations, children 24 months and over require an individual full-fare seat. Any child under 24 months is welcome on the lap of a responsible adult at no charge. For each passenger weighing 260-279 lbs, a weight balance fee of an additional 50% is required. For each passenger weighing 280 lbs or more, a weight balance fee of an additional 100% is required . The maximum weight per passenger is 300 lbs (136 kg). Rainbow Helicopters does not assume responsibility for conditions beyond their control, including adverse weather, regulatory restrictions, or any other condition that could compromise safety of flight. Unforeseen circumstances may precipitate varied scenic views, delay, or cancellation.

Special Notes:
A flight must have at least 2 guests to be confirmed. Parties of 1 can be paired with other parties, but it is best to call about availability in that case.
