USS Bowfin Submarine

Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum - USS Bowfin Submarine

Experience what life was like for sailors aboard a World War II-era submarine. A visit to the Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum offers a unique opportunity to board a submarine and learn about the inner workings of the vessels that make up the U.S. military's "Silent Service."

The Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum was recently renovated and features three galleries and many different exhibits and interactive displays. During World War II, the USS Bowfin went out on nine war patrols in the Pacific and is one of only 15 World War II submarines that remain intact today.

Submarine and Museum Tour: This self-guided tour includes admission to the Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum, the USS Bowfin and the outdoor exhibits. The tour includes audio guides that are available in seven languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Korean, Japanese and Mandarin. Plan approximately 1.5-2 hours to tour the submarine and grounds.

Museum only admission tickets are available as well.
